Terms and Conditions for Nurion AI Customer Support Agent

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Nurion AI Customer Support Agent, provided by "Itinerai", a company registered in Belgium, for the purpose of enabling AI-powered support via Instagram Direct Messages. By using our Agent, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and Meta Platform rules. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Agent.

2. Purpose of the Service

The Nurion AI Customer Support Agent is designed to:

  • Assist users with inquiries about Nurion's products and services via Instagram DM.
  • The platform allows users to reply to comments from within the platform directly into Instagram.
  • Help users manage conversations efficiently.
  • Provide automated Direct Messaging replies based on available product and brand information.
  • Escalate to a human representative when needed, per the Human Agent scope required by Meta.

3. Platform Scope & Meta Compliance

The service accesses limited Instagram data as permitted by the following scopes, subject to user authorization:

  • instagram_business_basic
  • instagram_business_manage_comments
  • instagram_business_manage_insights
  • instagram_business_manage_messages

Meta Compliance Agreement

By using the Agent, you acknowledge and agree that Nurion:

  • Uses this data solely to provide customer support functionality.
  • Adheres to Meta's Platform Terms and Data Use Policy.
  • Does not use data for profiling, advertising, or resale.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Agent to:

  • Transmit offensive, abusive, or unlawful content.
  • Violate Instagram's or Meta's terms of service.
  • Circumvent any platform restrictions or attempt unauthorized access.
  • We reserve the right to terminate service to users who violate these terms.

5. Limitations of Service

Please note the following service limitations:

  • The Agent provides automated responses based on predefined logic and content.
  • The platform allows users to reply to comments from within the platform directly into Instagram. We do not help in any way the automation of comments.
  • Responses may not always be accurate or appropriate for all contexts.
  • The service is not intended for legal, financial, or emergency use.
  • Nurion does not accept liability for any direct or indirect loss resulting from the use of the Agent.

6. Escalation to Human Agent

Where automation is insufficient, or if required by Meta Platform Policies, the Agent will escalate the conversation to a live support representative.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Agent, including text, logic, brand assets, and software code, remains the intellectual property of Nurion or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

8. Data Handling and Security

All user interactions are subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and delete data.

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data for third-party marketing.
  • Our systems are secured in accordance with GDPR and Meta Platform standards, including encrypted storage, access logs, and consent-based data processing.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium and the EU, without regard to conflict of law principles.
